Our family decided to have a brief vacation before our crazy Summer begins. So, Shara and I decided to head to Omaha, Nebraska of all places. Nothing against Omaha it’s a real nice town, but many people have asked us the same question. Why go on vacation to Omaha, Nebraska? I look at them and say, we are here for the zoo. Omaha may not be the shihizel(not sure how to spell that word), or off the hook (sorry I trying to hard to act like a youth minister), but the zoo is amazingly cool! Our family spent 5 hours visiting all the exhibits like: the Cat Complex, Dairy World, The Desert Dome (Largest in the world), Hubbard Gorilla Valley, Lied Jungle (largest indoor rain forest), and much more. It was great to see all the animals in a context of God creation. I would highly recommend anyone to take a little get-away and head to the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha.
