Boyd is dead on in this interview. The fact of the matter is that it is not popular, though. I would love to have Boyd speak to a few folk at the church I serve. Folk who are against shopping at Wal-Mart and eating at McDonald’s because of their political/social stances. Folk who pedal petitions during Wednesday night dinners. Folk who…well, you get the idea. I would love to hear Boyd address his views on such groups as Focus on the Family.
I love how he speaks of coming underneath people and serving them rather than over them. He hits a homerun when he states that in order to pick up the sword one must put down the cross. Awesome!!! Great post, Mikey…
